This is my first Budget as Premier. And I’m proud to say, it’s a Budget that’s all about helping families.
Right now, things are tough for a lot of Victorian families. With this Budget, we’re delivering cost of living help, investing in the services and support that Victorians rely on, and setting our state up for a strong future.
$400 School Saving Bonus
Families want the absolute best for their kids. But with the current cost of living – uniforms, camps, sports and more – it all adds up. We're introducing a one-off $400 School Saving Bonus to help families cover the costs of children’s schooling.
Investing in our children and young people
We understand the power of a great education. With this Budget, we’re investing more than $1.8 billion to continue building the Education State – and building a better future for Victoria’s children.
Record investment in frontline care
We know how important our hospitals and healthcare services are for patients and their families. With this year’s Budget, we are making an unprecedented multi-year investment of more than $11 billion in our health system.
Our Big Build
Our Big Build is about getting more Victorians into a home, and more Victorians home safer and sooner. The Victorian Government is building the road and rail Victorians need now, and for the future.
